Rehabilitation itself means restoration.the whole team of Mariyasadanam works day & night for the betterment of the residents, thus restoring their health and emotional well-being, thus being an aid for them to lead a life with normalcy.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy provides practical support to empower people. During the lockdown period, essential commodities such as soap, soap oil, dish wash, hand wash, toilet cleaner, sanitizers, mask, medicine cover etc. Were made as part of the occupation therapy unit and ensured the participation of the inmates. It supports people’s independence and satisfaction in all aspects of life.

Employment

Our Employment Programme is designed to help individuals overcome barriers to employment and gain the skills, experience, and confidence needed to succeed in the workforce. We offer a range of services to support job seekers, including career coaching, skills training, job placement assistance, and ongoing support. Here,at Mariyasadanam, we have employed social workers, doctors(psychiatrist, physician,dermatologist),staff nurses, counselors, supervisors,and caregivers as well.

Art as Treatment

Our Art as Treatment Programme offers a unique approach to healing and recovery for individuals facing physical or mental health challenges. Through the power of art, we provide a safe and supportive environment for participants to express themselves, connect with others, and find a sense of purpose and fulfillment. Art therapy is one among our main solutions for the mainstreaming and inclusion of our inmates.we have Kalasamithi, ganamela troupe,short films, dramas and stage shows for their involvement of the institutions work

Re-integration

We provide a range of services including counseling, education and training, job placement, and housing support to ensure that individuals are equipped with the tools they need to succeed. Our program is designed to empower individuals to regain their independence and become active members of their communities. We have certain clubs to ensure the mainstreaming of our inmates and reintegration with the society such as ‘home again’, ‘thalachaaykkan oridam’ etc
